Semester Fees Payment

I got the update on STiNE, under Documents, to pay my semester fees for enrolment. I have a few questions about this:

1. As the Visa situation from India is so uncertain, and I'm unsure if I'll be able to obtain a visa by October 1st, if I do pay the semester fees now, but am unable to go to Hamburg and study there and cannot do the courses online, will the semester fees be refunded?

2. When is the deadline to pay the Semester fees? Is it October 1st?

Dear s.mitra,

The semester contribution is part of your final enrollment. In case the amount has not been received by December, your provisional enrollment will be delete, because we then assume that you do not want to accept the study place after all.

Thank you for your reply! If I do pay it now, but then I can't go to Hamburg and start my studies, will I get the money back?
