Bearbeitet Regarding a rejection for formal reasons
Greetings!

I recently received a rejection letter for my program of choice. The reason for this rejection is stated as a failure of mine "to provide the proof of sufficient ECTS credits stipulated in the selection and admission requirements for [my] chosen degree program".

I checked the bachelor's degree requirements for this program many times before I applied. My bachelor's degree, the degree certificate and grade transcript for which I sent in with my application, seemed to fit the requirements. I even checked again after I received the letter of rejection. Still was unable to find a problem on my end.

I don't know if I am allowed to refute the basis of my rejection or ask for clarification for it, so I'd be grateful to be pointed in the right direction.

Dear 182,

Of course you may ask for clarification. But to point you to the right place for that clarification I need to know for which program you applied. If you tell me that I can tell you whom to contact.
