To Whom It May Concern,
I have a question regarding the recognition of foreign educational qualifications.
If I have Russian citizenship and I got Bachelor's degree in Russia, did I understand correctly that I need to upload for recognition only a Bachelor's degree? (without school certificate)
(There is no country-specific information for Russia).
If I need to upload school certificate with grades too, should I create new request for recognition from my account? Will both requests be considered (the one I have already sent with university diploma only and the one I will create, if school certificate recognition is needed too for Russian applicants)?
Would it be better, if I create new account and send the request for recognition of school certificate and Bachelor's degree from it?
Thank you in advance for your response!
Dear PolinaB,
"... that I need to upload for recognition only a Bachelor's degree? (without school certificate)"
Yes.
The recognition process necessary for a MIBAS application is in place to recognize your bachelor's degree and convert the grad for the later application process. Therefore, your secondary education ("school certificate") is irrelevant.
A Secondary education degree is only the subject of a recognition procedure when it comes to "higher education entrance eligibility", i.e. eligibility to study around a bachelors or state examination degree program.
Since a "higher education entrance eligibility" is not an admission requirement or selection criteria for MIBAS (see https://www.wiso.uni-hamburg.de/studien ... ml#8520068), only the university degree with which you want to apply for MIBAS must be recognized.
Best wishes
