Dear All,
I am currently completing my Master's degree at a German university, having earned 95 ECTS with an average grade of 1.7. I have already submitted my thesis and will receive the grade in a few days. I expect my final grade to be between 1.5 and 1.6, and I have a letter from my thesis supervisor confirming that I will pass my exam. Additionally, I hold a school diploma with an average grade of 1.3 and a Bachelor’s degree with a grade of 2.3 from a non-EU country.
I have already submitted my school diploma and Bachelor’s degree for document verification on the Uni Hamburg website. When I asked a question on the forum, I was informed that my Master's degree from a German university might be considered a “university entrance qualification.” Additionally, I read on the website that in certain cases, when the school diploma grade is higher than the university degree grade, it may be considered in the “Average mark” field during the admission evaluation.
In light of this information, I have a few questions:
When applying for the psychology program, can you consider my school diploma or my grades from the German Master's program instead of my Bachelor's degree?
If you can consider them, should I create a new application for the “recognition of the university entrance qualification” and upload my Master's grades?
If you will consider my Master's grades for the “Average mark” field, will you also consider the same grades for awarding points in the “Academic Studies at a public German university” section?
Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your guidance on these matters.
