Clarification about Enrollment

Dear Sir or Madame,

My name is Ali Safa Korcak, and I am pleased to inform you that I have been accepted into the M.A. English as a World Language program. I am currently in the process of completing my enrollment application. I have sent my transcript, English language proof and diploma.

The instructions indicate that mandatory documents are marked in colour. On the checklist, the only highlighted document is the proof of German language proficiency; however, the applicant group for this requirement is stated as M.A. Peace and Security Studies. I am writing to ask if this requirement also applies to my programme.

Unfortunately, it will not be possible for me to submit the proof of German language proficiency by August 28th.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could clarify this matter for me.

Unfortunately since English as a world language is at least partly taught in German, you need to provide proof of German language proficiency: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... nisse.html

Thank you for your reply. Also, can I enroll in university without a German language certificate? Or can you convert my acceptance document into a conditional acceptance document? I need this document for my visa. I want to enroll in a language school and get a C1 German certificate and I can start this master's degree next year. Is it possible?
