Clarification regarding student status

Hello,

I am writing to request clarification regarding my current student status. I am enrolled in the Master’s program in European and European Legal Studies, with the thesis deadline set for all the students for August 18th.
I had initially understood that my student status would remain valid until the end of September, in line with the Student Bescheinigung. However, I have since learned that the official graduation is expected to take place around January.
Given this, I would like to know whether my student status will be extended into the upcoming winter semester, and more generally, how this process is handled.

Your student status will be extended by re-enrollment to winter-semester 25/26.

Please ask the academic office of your program if the enrollment status is still necessary for official graduation in January.
