M10 Health Insurance Submission & Surname Correction Request
Dear Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to kindly request your assistance with two matters related to my application to the Master's of Science in Integrated Climate Systems Science.

1. My health insurance provider (Coracle/ TK) submitted my M10 form electronically on 28.05.2025, but it is not yet showing as received in my STiNE portal. As the deadline of June 4 approaches, I kindly ask for confirmation that it has been received or guidance if further action is required.

2. Additionally, I noticed that my surname is incorrectly recorded as “Djungel” in my application data, although I entered it correctly as “Dhungel.” Please could you update it to the correct spelling to avoid any issues with my enrollment?

Best regards,
Siddhartha Dhungel

Re: M10 Health Insurance Submission & Surname Correction Request
Dear Siddhartha Dhungel,

1) Please read the checklist of enrollment for an "International Master’s Degree Programs": https://www.uni-hamburg.de/campuscenter ... tional.pdf.

2) "As the deadline of June 4 approaches, ..."

This is a misunderstanding. There is no deadline for providing proof of health insurance. The enrollment deadline is not related to the proof of health insurance.
However, this notification can also be made after the end of your enrollment deadline.

3) "but it is not yet showing as received in my STiNE portal."

In most circumstances, it is not possible to see for a student or applicant in STiNE if we have received the notification or not. The STiNE menu that you are looking at only allows you to enter health insurance data for later data comparison. This helps in some cases, if we get a notification form a health inusrance and cannot match it too a student.

This menu is not intended to keep applicants or students informed about any incoming status notifications.

4) Additionally, I noticed that my surname is incorrectly recorded as “Djungel” in my application data, ..."

I don't know which document or database you are referring to here. Please check your letter of admission.

The name in the letter of admission is directly taken from our applicants database. Therefore, if your name is incorrect in the letter of admission, it is also incorrect in our database. If this is the case, please contact us via the Campus Centre contact form: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/admission.

Best wishes
Thomas Walter
