Some funding and insurance related questions

Hi.
I have some questions regarding to proof of financing and the funding it self.
Thank you in advance for helping.

1) I wanted to know if it is possible to apply for fundings posted on DAAD before I receive admission letter from a German university?

2) How many months prior to the start of study should I apply for funding?

3) Are there funds available for Master's program in English which cover the fund from start of study or all will begin the payment after at least one term or one year?

4) If I have been successfully granted fund, Can I use the fund income in procedure of proof of financing?

5) Also there is something about process of activating an insurance, If I understood correctly, it was needed with my application for enrollment. Does it mean I have to pay for insurance even before my application is admitted? And if it is so. How should I do it?

Questions 1 to 4 should better be ask to DAAD.

No, the electric notification about your health insurance has to be received later on after you have been admitted and should be valid from start of your studies (April 1 or October 1).
