Good day
I am provisionally enrolled as a free mover student for the winter semester 2025/26. My visa application has been checked by the embassy and they rejected the letter of invitation provided by my supervisor at the University of Hamburg. They instead asked me for a letter of admission (Zulassungsbescheid). How am I supposed to obtain this letter from the University as I could not find any such letter from the stine portal nor did I receive it by email. Kindly, help me with this query.
Thank you and best regards
Dear shiny,
unfortunately, we do not issue a letter of admission for freemover students. Usually the invitation letter by the faculty should suffice for visa purposes. Maybe you can ask your supervisor at Uni Hamburg if they can offer you another version that includes the specific demands of the embassy?
In case you have any other questions, feel free to contact us again using our contact form so we can look into the details in your account. https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... enter.html

Thank you for the reply. I had asked the campus center with the contact form attaching the specific message from the embassy, and they are very particular about the admission letter. If possible please do check my message via contact form. I will also ask at the department for another letter. Thank you again.
Best regards,
Shiny
