I received an acceptance letter for summer semester
Application number: 2063045/English as a world language
I am IRANIAN and because of latest events in IRAN we do not have a normal life routine .Embassy is not active.flight is not in a normal situation. I need some more time for participating in calasses . When I applied, the situation in my country was normal and the embassy was active but everything changed in just 2 days . On the other hand, I really attempted to receive this acceptance letter . I want to know if it is possible to defer my acceptance to the winter semester.
or I would like to kindly ask if it is possible to take a leave of absence for one semester.

A deferment of your admission is not possible. Please contact the faculty and ask for the possibility of late arrival. The contact can be found at the end of the application information: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/onTEAM/studi ... nguage.pdf
Please be aware: A late arrival means that your enrollment still starts in summer semester 2025/26 but you start your lectures after arriving. That would mean, you’d still have to pay the semester contribution for the summer semester even though you are not here.
