Hey there! I previously completed roughly 2/3's of my degree here, but I dropped out to pursue an opportunity in the industry. However, I now would like to return to school and finish my degree. Does the university support higher-semester re-entry, and if so, what's the process for this, as well as the associated deadlines? In addition, I would like to know if there is a way I could complete these remaining units remotely, as I currently live in the US through an exchange program or a partner university. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

just to clarify: have you been studying at Universität Hamburg before? Because we distinguish between re-entry ("Wiedereinschreibung" - basically starting from where you have left of before) and applying for the first or higher semester and getting credits from other universities recognized.
In the latter case: there is no special re-entry deadline, you will have to apply within the normal registration period which can be found in our study guide for each degree program: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... gebot.html
Please note the language requirements and recognition of foreign university entrance degrees:

To clarify, I've attended the University of Hamburg before so I was inquiring about resuming my degree. For more context, I stopped pursuing my degree around ~10 years ago and still have roughly 45 units left until I can graduate.
Thanks for clarifying. In this case, I would suggest you contact your former programs academic office and ask for advise whether or not its possible to resume your studies. They should also be able to tell you if you can apply for a higher semester or have to apply for first semester and then add your previous credits to your account.
