Inquiry Regarding Eligibility for Master’s Program Admission

Dear Admissions Team,

I hope you are doing well.

My name is Anju Augustin, and I am interested in applying for a Master’s program related to Data Science, Business Analytics, or Data Analytics at the University of Hamburg for the upcoming Winter intake.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Statistics from India. Additionally, I have more than three years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, where I worked on data analysis, dashboard reporting, business process analysis, and enterprise application implementation projects.

I have completed the APS certification process and obtained an IELTS overall score of 6.5, with a Reading band score of 5.5. I am also currently learning German at the B1 level.

I would like to kindly ask whether my academic background and English language scores would make me eligible to apply for suitable Master’s programs at your university.

I am highly interested in pursuing higher education in Germany in the field of analytics and data-driven technologies, and I believe my academic and professional experience aligns well with these areas.

I am sorry that some of the information provided on that page is not available in English – the reason for this is that all of the programs marked “DT” or “DT/EN” in the list are at least partly taught in German, so you need to provide proof of German language proficiency to be admitted (exception: Business Administration).
