Hello there,
I am in my last year of undergraduate studies with Biology major. I would like to study medicine in University of Hamburg. I would like you to guide me with application process for medicine studies, it's requirements, and full process of applying and shifting to Germany. I visited the website of University of Hamburg but couldn't quiet understand the process of applying. So, kindly provide me step by step guide to obtain admission in the University. What factors determines that admission will be granted? I would have my Bachelors of Arts in Biology by the end of May 2017. Do I need to take some kind of test to apply for University of Hamburg to study Medicine. I will be eagerly waiting for your answer.
Regards,
Thanks in advance for your help.
Dear mealow.kh,
Regarding the application process for international students, we recommend following the steps and guidelines offered on our platform International Guide: http://www.uni-hamburg.de/iguide_e
When you register for the Group "Bachelor/Staatsexamen" the platform will guide you through the necessary application steps. There, you will also find helpful Information on the needed documents and prerequisites as well as the visa application process and other important Information pertaining to your studies at Universität Hamburg.
Please be aware that the Medicine program is a 6 year program fully taught in German. Proof of German language proficiency must be handed in by the start of the first semester. You can find all details about the needed German language proficiency in International Guide as well.
There is no medicine entry exam for non-EU applicants.
Kind regards,
Hanna Goetze
